Hope Whitman

PT, DPT, OCS

Hope Whitman has just returned back home to CO after years away getting her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Pacific University and starting her career in both physical therapy and personal training in Boise, ID.

She has years of experience in the health and fitness community as she grew up in Glenwood Springs, CO enjoying soccer, gymnastics, running, skiing/snowboarding, and hiking from a young age. She went on to play collegiate soccer at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs while studying Health Care Science. Hope also spent the last 2 years as the Assistant Varsity Girls Soccer Coach for a 5A High School in Boise, ID that has expanded her coaching knowledge and expertise to be able to treat sports specific injuries and high school ages.

After college, Hope wanted to continue to find a way to stay competitive with herself and began progressing with strength training and overall fitness. This, in combination with pursuing physical therapy school, gave her a great skillset to be able to help any individual meet their goals, while staying healthy and safe.

When Hope is not working you can find her with her fiance, trail running or working out, drinking a fresh matcha latte, binging the latest hit series, and making her way through all the amazing restaurants Boulder has to offer!

Interests

She has experience working with individuals of all ages. She has a strong passion for injuries involving the lower extremities, especially the knee and ankle, as she went through a traumatic injury herself and knows just what to do work through barriers and get back to anything you can dream of. Hope has certifications for dry needling, blood flow restriction, and advanced prosthetics rehabilitation.

Treatment Philosophy

Hope likes to meet people where they are at and push them to meet their goals. She enjoys being hands-on with most patients, but also making sure they are set up for success on their own, at home, for the most positive rehab potential.
