Hannah Simmons
PT, DPT
Hannah is originally from Massachusetts, just south of Boston. She attended University of Massachusetts Amherst where she studied kinesiology and psychology.
She lived abroad in Muizenburg, South Africa volunteering and working as a primary school teacher. While there, she also worked as a surf instructor teaching adaptive surf lessons to children with cerebral palsy and spinal cord injuries.
Hannah has also spent several years working as a PTA in an inpatient setting primarily treating patients with a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions before going back to school at Tufts University. She moved to Colorado for the mountains and enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and camping with her dog, Maya.
Interests
Clinically, Hannah has special interest in treating patients with lower extremity issues, especially after ACL injuries and surgery recovery. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys all things outdoors including snowboarding, camping, and hiking with her dog, Maya, and traveling.
Treatment Philosophy
Hannah loves approaching treatment with the whole patient in mind, making sure to give patients the proper education and treatment interventions to help improve their overall quality of life and return to the functional and recreational activities that they love doing. She utilizes a combination of manual interventions, modalities, and exercise prescription to help patients achieve their unique goals and obtain a healthy lifestyle without pain.
