Evan Little
PT, MPT, CSCS, TSAC-F, CMP
Evan started his undergraduate career as Structural Engineer, but quickly change his major after injuring his shoulder, undergoing surgery and starting the rehab process. He realized that his skills would better serve the community as a Physical Therapist. After graduating PT school, he understood that manual therapy, in concordance with proper exercise training, would maximize recovery during the rehab process. Early on in his career, he became a Certified Mulligan Practitioner and Strength and Conditioning Specialist to maximize musculoskeletal alignment while retraining the injured body part to restore essential activation patterns. His understanding of forces on the body in relation to the center of gravity allows him to enhance the functional return of his patients.
He resides in Lafayette where he has 3 beautiful children and a dog with whom he enjoys spending most of his time. He dedicates his time to watching them play sports, and playing board games and card games with them.
Interests
Evan's interests include: resistance training, snowboarding, hiking, woodworking, gardening, playing sports with his kids and throwing the frisbee for his dog.
Treatment Philosophy
Evan uses extensive manual therapy techniques utilizing myofascial release, muscle energy, dry needling, and his education as a Certified Mulligan Practitioner in all orthopedic conditions to normalize biomechanical alignment and to restore pain free functional movement patterns. This is then followed up by corrective exercises to improve the movement impairments that are leading to the pain and functional deficits. He also believes in restoring neural mobility using many different nerve releases and craniosacral treatment to reduce sympathetic drive and improve neural circulation.
